An update to LS2’s Subverter motocross helmet means that it now comes with MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) technology - a low friction layer that sits between the helmet's EPS liner and fabric lining, allowing the head to move 10-15mm relative to the helmet in all directions. This is said to protect against rotational brain injury - caused by movement between the brain and skull when the head suffers an impact.
Otherwise, it’s business as usual - its ECE 22.05 and ACU Gold certified, it has emergency release cheekpads, an adjustable peak, a washable hypoallergenic interior and multiple vents.
It comes in sizes XS to 3XL in two solid colours for £149.99 SRP or a choice of graphics for SRPs of £179.99 to £199.99.
